The Evil Witch is the main antagonist in The Denpa Men 2: Beyond the Waves. True to her name, she is most definitely evil, and her kidnapping of Crystal drives much, if not all, of the game's plot.
Story[]
The Evil Witch is the leader of "The organization", presumably devoted to causing as much evil and destruction as possible. To accomplish her goal, she requires the 3 orbs (Truth, Dark, and Holy). Perhaps as foresight, Crystal hid the Dark Orb away to prevent such an event from occurring, and in response, the Evil Witch has King Ook capture the protagonist's family (Crystal included, naturally). The King of Evil reveals that he's one of the priests in the witch's organization, referring to her as "the new ruler of this world".
Much later in the game, she is encountered at the top of the Palace Tower, where she is seen interrogating Crystal (and berating the King of Evil for his incompetence in the mission thus far). The Evil Witch then notices the protagonist and threatens them with Crystal's life in exchange for the 3 orbs, which prompts the King of Evil to interfere and try to stop her. Incensed at the King's betrayal, and having finally reached her boiling point with him, she banishes him to the Inferno and plans to do the same to the protagonist and their party. Unfortunately for the Evil Witch, she is defeated and banished to the Inferno (which she foreshadows with her last words). The post-game is spent traversing the Inferno in an attempt to rescue the King of Evil (by Crystal's request). At the end of the Inferno, she is seen torturing the King of Evil with Zonkies, where it is revealed she also runs the Inferno (whether she became the ruler through brute force or was automatically given the position is unknown). In this form, she is referred to as the "Demon Queen" and battles the Denpa Men once more, pleased at the idea of more playthings to torture. Once again, she is defeated and she considers the possibility of the protagonist being the "Legendary Hero". She laments having not destroyed them ages ago, but warns them of an impending threat arising and relishes the idea of the world being in mortal peril, cackling as she finally dies, freeing the King of Evil from his torment.
