Protagonist

The heroes are Denpa Men that are the main protagonists of the games. They are characterized as being the first Denpa Men you find, and they all share the Revive antenna.

In the first 3 games, a hero is randomly selected from a certain number of preset Denpa Men. This changes every time the "New Game" option is selected on the title screen. THE "DENPA" MEN: They Came By Wave contains 31 heroes, THE "DENPA" MEN 2: Beyond The Waves contains 16 heroes, and THE "DENPA" MEN 3: The Rise of Digitoll contains 32 heroes.

In THE "DENPA" MEN 4: FREE! there are no preset heroes, and instead the hero is generated via the Nintendo 3DS' Console ID, meaning that the hero found at the beginning of the game will always be the same, unless the 3DS itself is formatted.

In THE New "DENPA" MEN, there are a total of 13 heroes, and any of them can be chosen from the beginning.
